Georgetown Law and ICAP state that McCord served as legal counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Task Force 1-6 Capitol Security Review appointed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi after the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. The same pages list service on the Columbus Police After Action Review Team for the 2020 summer protests. Those are institutional bios. They are not charging instruments.

The Washington Examiner 2021 FISC story also noted the Pelosi security-review role. Reporting, not a court. This post does not invent a finding about January 6 defendants, and it does not treat counsel to a review task force as a crime.
